AmpHead Physical Distribution
Stock recovery / Stock purchase
Artists must contact us by February 28, 2011
The music label Amphead (SWISH AMPHEAD PTY LTD) was placed into administration in August 2009 (read more here). AdEffective Ltd. now runs most of the old Swish businesses and at this stage Amphead will most likely not re-open in the foreseeable future in its previous structure.
If you were an artist who had a physical distribution deal with Amphead and would like to chat further about recovery of CDs or purchase of CDs that you ordered but hadn't paid for, please contact us at info@amphead.com.au
We plan to organize a day in early March 2011 when CDs can be collected.
You will be required to sign a CD/DVD Release/Collection Form.
Please note the following:
- We cannot provide any information or help you with anything else apart from the possible opportunity of recovering or purchasing physical CDs.
- We cannot assist you with digital or physical sales or the recovery of funds from digital sales. Please refer to the ASX Administrators announcement.
- You will need to speak to the Administrators of The Swish Group if you have any queries in relation to outstanding monies due. Please refer to the ASX Administrators announcement.
- We do have a list of CDs in stock and available for collection / payment.
- We do not have all CDs that were on our original stock list received after taking over the Amphead business from the former Swish Group Management.
- If you believe you are the legal owner of any CDs that may be our storage facilities, please ensure you can provide proof of evidence of ownership, including payment receipts, agreements with Amphead etc. A fee in most cases will apply for recovery of the CDs. Please note we have paid a considerable amount of money to firstly recover the stock, store the stock and sort the stock.
- You will be required to sign a CD/DVD Release/Collection Form, which states that you will make no future claims of any type against AdEffective Ltd or any companies owned by AdEffective Ltd.
- Please note that you must contact us by no later than February 28, 2011 or you will not be able to recover stock from us and most likely will be required to pay for any stock.
- Any left over stock will be disposed of either by public or private sale after March 1, 2011.
- AmpHead Music & Entertainment Group was the Australasian branch of The Orchard, New York - the digital distributor for all artists signed to the Amphead label. (http://www.theorchard.com/)
- Don't claim you own stock if you cannot prove you own stock. We are trying to complete this process with minimal costs to ensure any fees that need to be charged remain minimal.
- None of our staff were involved with the old Amphead business. We cannot provide you information in relation to where your money has gone or where your CDs have done if we don't have them currently in our possession.
- Again, we cannot assist you with digital or physical sales or the recovery of funds from digital or physical sales.
For any further questions, please contact us at info@amphead.com.au
